MPS – MODULAR PROTECTION SYSTEM

The MODULAR PROTECTION SYSTEM (MPS) provides an interlocking, hollow modular block system which has been designed and developed for radiation shielding & ballistic protection.

Being hollow, the blocks can be filled with a variety of material, such as water, sand and concrete, most of which can be recovered and the blocks moved to another location for re-use.

SPECIAL SECURITY GLASS & DOORS

As an option to existing building structures, KBS offers to upgrade the windows and doors up to protection level FB7-NS (EN 1522/1523) and RC6 (EN 1627), in order to integrate ballistic protection and to harden them against forced entry (along with high security locking mechanisms). The new windows and doors will fit in perfectly into the existing design of the building. By normal means nobody will identify the upgraded devices as the special high-security windows & doors.
